By November of 2003, it appeared by all estimates that the cost of finishing the interior of the building was down to $12 - 15,000.  The largest part of this amount involved the number one requirement of the City Building department, the installation of fire retardant ceiling tile and the appropriate light fixtures to go with it.  After much prayer and consideration, the Millers felt impressed to make a trip back east with a two fold purpose: 1) to be with pastor’s family during the Christmas season for the first time in fifteen years and 2) to attempt to raise the funds for completion of the building.  Confirmation came from the Lord on December 1 when a gift of $200 from another missionary pastor was given to them for their gas expense.  The second confirmation came shortly after when Pastor Ron Young of Morning Star Baptist Church in Cleveland, NC (a former contributor) called to say that we could use their “prophet’s chamber-mobile home” on their property for our housing in January   The Millers left Billings on Monday, December 22, with plans to return from North and South Carolina by January 24, 2004.

They came back rejoicing with $5- 6,000 for the building, some to still come in and God provided for all of their expenses and some bills that were waiting here. Another $1000 came in after their return.  Further, on January 27, a call came in from a friend of Devon Whittamore of Freedom Baptist Church, the Target America ministry who had installed the auditorium ceiling.  Carlos Stowers had called to tell us that Devon was going to try and raise the nearly $2800 needed to get the ceiling materials and that he, Carlos, would like to come out with his son in May to install it.  On Friday, March 5, Brother Devon Whittamore called to let us know that he had raised the funds for the ceiling installation ($2780) and we would learn later that he had paid for the Stowers travel expenses to get to Montana. The Lord brought in an additional $2500 before the ceiling installation team came in May, providing a good sum for the finishing of the lighting/restroom fixtures.
