"7
And the LORD God formed man
of the dust of the ground, and breathed
into his nostrils the breath of life; and man
became a living soul. 8
¶ And the LORD God
planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he
put the man whom he had formed. 9 And out of the
ground made the LORD God to grow every tree
that is pleasant to the sight, and good for
food; the tree of life also in the midst of the
garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and
evil. 10 And a river went out of Eden to water
the garden; and from thence it was parted, and
became into four heads. 11 The name of the
first is Pison: that is it which
compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where
there is gold; 12 And the gold of
that land is good: there is
bdellium and the onyx stone. 13 And the name of
the second river is Gihon: the same
is it that compasseth the whole land of
Ethiopia. 14 And the name of the third river
is Hiddekel: that is it which
goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the
fourth river is Euphrates. 15 And the LORD
God took the man, and put him into the garden
of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
16 ¶ And the LORD God commanded the man, saying,
Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely
eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of
good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in
the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt
surely die. 18
¶ And the LORD God
said, It is not good that the man should
be alone; I will make him an help meet for
him. 19 And out of the ground the LORD God
formed every beast of the field, and every fowl
of the air; and brought them unto Adam
to see what he would call them: and whatsoever
Adam called every living creature, that
was the name thereof. 20 And Adam gave
names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the
air, and to every beast of the field; but for
Adam there was not found an help meet for
him. 21 ¶
And the LORD God caused a deep
sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he
took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh
instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which
the LORD God had taken from man, made he a
woman, and brought her unto the man.
23 And
Adam said, This is now bone of my bones,
and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called
Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and
his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and
they shall be one flesh. 25 And they were both
naked, the man and his wife, and were not
ashamed." (Genesis 2:7-25 KJV)
"Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the
garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence
he was taken." (Genesis 3:23 KJV)
"And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and
took of every clean beast, and of every clean
fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the
altar." (Genesis 8:20 KJV)
"Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out
of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from
thy father’s house, unto a land that I
will shew thee:" (Genesis 12:1 KJV)
"8 And
Moses and Aaron were brought again unto
Pharaoh: and he said unto them, Go, serve the
LORD your God: but who are they
that shall go? 9
And Moses said, We will go with
our young and with our old, with our sons and
with our daughters, with our flocks and with
our herds will we go; for we must hold a
feast unto the LORD. 10 And he said unto
them, Let the LORD be so with you, as I will
let you go, and your little ones: look to
it; for evil is before you.
11 Not so:
go now ye that are men, and serve the
LORD; for that ye did desire. And they were
driven out from Pharaoh’s
presence. 12
¶ And the LORD said
unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the
land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may
come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every
herb of the land, even all that the hail
hath left. 13
And Moses stretched forth his
rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD
brought an east wind upon the land all that
day, and all that night; and when
it was morning, the east wind brought the
locusts. 14 And the locusts went up over all the
land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of
Egypt: very grievous were they; before
them there were no such locusts as they,
neither after them shall be such. 15 For they
covered the face of the whole earth, so that
the land was darkened; and they did eat every
herb of the land, and all the fruit of the
trees which the hail had left: and there
remained not any green thing in the trees, or
in the herbs of the field, through all the land
of Egypt. 16 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and
Aaron in haste; and he said, I have sinned
against the LORD your God, and against
you. 17 Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my
sin only this once, and intreat the LORD your
God, that he may take away from me this death
only. 18 And he went out from Pharaoh, and
intreated the LORD. 19 And the LORD
turned a mighty strong west wind, which took
away the locusts, and cast them into the Red
sea; there remained not one locust in all the
coasts of Egypt. 20 But the LORD
hardened Pharaoh’s heart, so that he
would not let the children of Israel go."
(Exodus 10:8-20 KJV)
"For the law was given by Moses, but
grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." (John
1:17 KJV)
"That in the dispensation of the fulness of
times he might gather together in one all
things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and
which are on earth; even in him:"
(Ephesians 1:10 KJV)
