Moving Window for New Platform and Pulpit |
|
At the suggestion of evangelist, Dr. Bobby Brown, who had built a church in a barn in Alsip, IL the auditorium was redesigned with to pulpit on the north side of the building. This has proved to be one of the best decision that we made in remodeling the building. See latter pictures for the result |

Fellowship Hall 1999 |
|
The Basement of the new building had become a catch all for building material, used furniture, discard nursery supplies, and lots of dust and debris, but over the next five years that would all change, The dry wall on the far wall was at this point nearly 12 years old with no paint and had become yellowish brown with age. One of the jobs that Pastor John Smith, of Piney Grove took on put on the "mud." |

What Was Left Behind |
|
Auditorium Looking West, The platform is framed and sheeted, the insulation is installed, their is material left over. This was taking the day of the departure of the Men for Piney Grove.
In all they were able to complete the following rough-in projects: The Stairway, The Wheelchair lift shaftway, the platform, moved three(3) windows from behind the pulpit and place in new locations, all the conduit and breaker boxes in the basement to the receptacles in the auditorium and all the plumbing in the restrooms and stubbed a run to the kitchen.
In Just Four and half days.
